Welcome To The

Integrated Electronic Built Environment System

About IEBES

The CBE is required to promote sound governance and ongoing human resource development within the Built Environment. In order to achieve these objectives, the CBE requires the development of the Integrated Electronic Built Environment System (IEBES).

IEBES will enhance CBE’s oversight of the Councils of the Built Environment Professions (CBEP) in terms of government’s overarching socio-economic policies. This will, in turn, contribute towards the development of strategic interventions to the achievement of national objectives such as skills development and transformation in the Built Environment. The system will streamline how CBEP deliver on the core mandate and report to the CBE, which will enable the CBE to efficiently play its oversight role and improve reporting to the Department of Public Works and other stakeholders. IEBES will also assist in ensuring that there is timely, complete and accurate data for Monitoring and Evaluation activities of programmes in the Built Environment.
